DUI, Domestic Violence, & Substance Abuse Screening, Education, and Treatment

DUI Screening—Client will be scheduled for the initial appointment within 72 hours.  The MAST and the SASSI instruments, as well as an alcohol and drug history will be completed.  A follow up appointment for assessment and referral will be scheduled.
DUI Education– The DUI Education Program is a 16 hour curriculum addressing such issues as: the affects of alcohol on the body, driver safety, alcohol and its affects in the community, as well as guest speakers.  Clients will be asked to participate in group discussions.
DUI Treatment—DUI Treatment is a 36 hour program which includes DUI education and 20 hours of group and/or individual counseling.  Please call to schedule an appointment. 
 Domestic Violence Screening – Client will be scheduled for the initial appointment within 72 hours. The Aggressiveness Assessment, as well as client information packet will be completed. Screening will determine the length of treatment required.
Domestic Violence Treatment – DV Treatment is a 26 week (minimum) program of weekly group and/or individual counseling. Please call to schedule an appointment.
Addictions Counseling—Addictions counseling is available.  Call for appointment.
Relapse Prevention – 12-24 week curriculum which concentrates on promoting long-term, sustained recovery.  Clients will learn about the physical, mental, emotional and social effects of drugs and alcohol, as well as addiction and self-awareness.  Clients will learn about relapse triggers, symptoms of relapse and solutions to relapse.  Call for schedule.
Life Skills – A 12 week curriculum of various every day topics, such as how to access and utilize community resources, job skills training, health education, time management, and financial counseling.  Please call in advance for group times and days. 

Substance Abuse 101 :  Clients will participate in a 7.5 hour class that will educate and inform them on the physical and mental effects of substance use, in addition , detailing the most sought out and most used drugs, how abuse affects families and friends, the basic drug laws that Arizona  mandates, and how to identify  the signs of addiction in yourself. Adult Responsibility : Clients will participate in a 7.5 hour class that will educate and inform them about risk management. The effects that bad choices can have on our lives; Conflict resolution, boundaries, setting limits with other’s along with basic communication skills. The forum will end with elementary tools for stress management and how to find relaxation techniques that might work for you.  Diversion Program Clients
