T.Y.L.A. (Turn Your Life Around) is a non-profit agency envisioned in 2004 by Cheryl Holland
(a local business owner, mother, and woman in recovery) that assists men and women sustain their new lives in recovery.
Our agency is currently dependent upon Holland Construction and other donations from helping members of the community.
Although we have had a great response from the private sector, we still need further financial assistance.T.Y.L.A. has been doing a magnificent job over these last 18 months, but is in great need of
financial assistance. They are a 501 (c) (3) corporation, so all donations are tax deductible. We
strongly endorse this agency, and would like to encourage you to join us in our efforts to help individuals in recovery become
productive members of the community. Please help us, help them. Here are just a few of T.Y.L.A.’s
astonishing accomplishments:
- Over
1200 outfits were provided for men and women in recovery over the past year. (additionally new underwear, socks and hygiene
were given)
- Over 300 support line calls were taken over the past year and, T.Y.L.A. had 800 walk-in clients that requested
our services.
- More than 1500 participants in the T.Y.L.A. meetings and groups.
- Mentoring and Sober Living House
T.Y.L.A. is also offering outpatient
treatment with qualified staff. The outpatient services available include addictions counseling, DUI Treatment
and Education, and a variety of classes for relapse prevention and other related topics. Enclosed is information about these
services and others if you have patients that might be in need as well.
